This a synergistic combination of two antioxidantsthathelp block histamines.
Bioflavonoids are water-soluble compounds present in citrus fruits,rose hips, and other plants. In humans, bioflavonoids help maintainresistance of capillary walls to permeation and change of pressure, andhave synergistic antioxidant effects with vitamin C. Quercetin is theactive flavonol part of rutin. It also is used as a capillaryprotectant and is a more powerful antioxidant than rutin.
