Glucosinolates are transformed into indole-3-carbinol (I3C) anddiindolylmethane (DIM) in the body. I3C promotes formation of abeneficial estrogen (2-hydroxyestrone), supporting the health ofestrogen-sensitive tissues such as those of the breast and cervix. Italso acts as an antioxidant, working to neutralize cell-damaging freeradicals, protecting immune and overall-body health.


DIM, which is the active metabolite of I3C, works to convert activeestrogens into inactive estrogen metabolites.
